Jun Qian emigrated to the USA from China on a student visa after graduating with a master’s degree in computer science & artificial intelligence from Tsinghua University—ranked #1 as the best university in China by U.S. News & World Report. He later graduated with a MS in Computer Science & Machine Learning from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Years later, Mr. Qian obtained his green card and became an American citizen.

Jun Qian is Vice President of Generative AI Services at Oracle Corporation, one of the largest software companies in the world.

Qian has over 25 years of experience at Oracle (and other technology firms) pioneering technological innovation in AI and machine learning. He has led engineering teams at global giants such as Oracle, Microsoft, and Amazon.

In his various corporate roles, Jun Qian has been adept at fostering cultures of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. His expertise was featured in August 2023 at an AI summit on how enterprises use AI.
